Aquatica Tinley Park is the leading fish store in the south suburbs of Chicago. We are looking for fellow aquarists to help us maintain our store and keep our fish and corals healthy.   As aqua-nerds we are proud to serve our local community of fish geeks!  This is an in-store position where you will clean fish tanks, feed fish, clean the store, and maintain the filter systems of the aquariums.  Occasionally you may be asked to help customers or stock inventory.  If you love aquatic creatures and are interested in the industry, this is a great place to start! 

Qualifications

• Aquarium experience preferred
• Saltwater aquarium experience strongly desired
• Ability to lift weights up to 35 pounds
• Ability to climb a 6-foot tall ladder

Responsibilities

• Cleaning aquariums
• Cleaning aquarium filter systems
• Cleaning floors
• Feeding fish
• Occasionally, retail inventory maintenance tasks such as restocking, counting, and organizing.
• Occasionally, help customers with purchases.
• 24-hour notice for cancelled shifts
